The cold therapy side is what sold me, since I was dealing with engorgement around the clock and these sit flat enough to tuck in a nursing bra. They warm up fast in the microwave and stay pliable, which makes the whole routine way less fiddly at 3 AM.
The heat stays on for a good stretch, and the cold side actually gets properly cold, which I’ve struggled to find with other packs. Being able to flip between hot and cold without waiting around is a lifesaver for those early engorgement days and clogged ducts.
The gel packs mold nicely to the breast and hold their temperature for a good 20 minutes, which made alternating between warm and cold relief pretty seamless. Only wish the covers came in more than one size, but they do the job.
