Pump Sizing 101 guide

Support via Sizing
Specialist

Your milk output
will thank you.

When it comes to breast pumps, fit really matters — and fit starts with your flange. Perfecting your flange fit has a direct impact on your comfort and output while pumping.

How It Works

  • Measure your nipples either an hour before or an hour after nursing or pumping.
  • If your flange still doesn’t feel comfortable, experiment with the other inserts. (Also, make sure you’re wearing a snug but stretchy pumping bra!)
  • Book your session with a Willow Sizing Specialist if you need additional support

Brian P. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about inserts helping with output, but the range of sizes in this kit meant I finally got a seal that doesn’t pinch. Pumping feels noticeably less uncomfortable now, and my milk flow improved right away.

Christopher A. ★★★★★

The 5 insert sets made it easy to test different sizes without ordering a bunch of separate kits. The smaller ones fit snugly and the whole thing feels more comfortable than the standard flange I was using. Definitely worth it for the milk output difference alone.

Carter O. ★★★★★

Shipping was quick and the inserts cover every size I could need, so I finally stopped guessing with flanges. The softer inserts made the difference, and my output noticeably improved within a week. Definitely worth it for the variety alone.
